I saw these movies in the mid-1960s in school. I thought they were great then, and are still entertaining. Hemo in particular still holds up, technically. I do miss the occasional flutter of the original film presentations.
These great movies were made by Frank Capra, with the assistance of Bell Telephone Laboratories. They used to be in the Lab's archives when I started work here in 1987.
I am told that the rights to these movies belong to Whalley Associates in California. The tapes may be ordered from Rhino Home Video, 800 432-0020.
Some have asked specific questions about the film. I have asked around the Labs, and have not found anyone who could answer specific questions.
