All ChesHaz queries are performed locally on the iOS device, and logged to local storage. The app communicates none of this information anywhere.
The data presented in the app is obtained from public sources, like NOAA and Wikipedia. These databases are updated in the app from time to time, and distributed in app updates.
The app does have links to external sites. If used, those sites may record the access.
